A few days ago, while Mom was still here, we were trying to decide where to eat lunch. I suggested that we try a different kebap place than the one that is below us (Le Boheme). There are lots of them in Florence, and I felt like in order to declare that one our favorite, we had to have tried others. I cannot even come up with an analogy to adequately describe Wynn's complete shock and dismay when I said this. Somehow, I ended up convincing him to go to a kebap place down the street, but he was not happy about it. He kept saying that he hopes the other guy doesn't see him and talked throughout the meal about how bad he felt about "cheating" on Le Boheme. He has even been considering confessing to the guy there...how weird would that be. I really hope that he feels this same kind of loyalty towards me that he does for a kebap place where he doesn't even know the guy's name.
