The Orient Express

When we arrived at the Hotel, there was a little misunderstanding about the reservation. We requested 2 beds, but had no idea that they would be 2 twin size beds. After explaining to us that they could not fit 4 twin beds into a room, Beth used her Marriott Platinum Member status to get us upgraded ("We have special price only for you")...

After getting the royal treatment, back at the Hotel, we headed out to wander around and get lost in Venice. San Marco Piazza was pretty amazing...

If a pigeon poops on you it is good luck...

Don't eat the calimari...

Although there are 425 gondoliers, in Venice, we believe we had the best one...

All in all, Venice is one of the prettiest towns that we have visited...
