Rome was just as fantastic as I remembered (minus Dominic and Rachel). Wynn wasn't that impressed at first but as we started walking around, and he saw the amazing buildings and history at every turn he warmed up to it. Day one, we went to the Vatican/Sistine Chapel. It was extremely crowded, and we were hungry...not a good idea. But we saw it and appreciated it. Afterwards, we almost killed each other trying to find Pizzarium (as seen on The Layover). We did find it eventually with the help of a cab and had good, interesting pizza and suppli that put us in good moods to tour the town. So, we went to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Wynn was completely impressed as he knew he would be. Walked around Trastevere and to cool beer bar...again, Wynn was impressed. I was more excited about the enoteca we visited and the cacio e pepe we ate.
