Florence with W&C

Wyly and Corey went on a walking tour of Florence.  We met up for a kebap lunch and talked to Kiada for a while trying to arrange the delivery of Corey's bag.  We were about to go to Santa Croce Basilica when Wynn made an upsetting discovery...  

A few days before Wyly and Corey arrived, Wynn came back from the laundromat and asked me about 4 times if he could help with cooking dinner...a little out of character.  Then I realized he was slurring his words and asked what he did while doing laundry.  He said, "Just listened to Adele." I laughed and questioned him a little more.  Determined that he had "a strong beer." Not sure that just one was consumed but left it at that.  Soon after I told Wyly and Corey this story, Wynn realized he was missing 4 of his favorite summer shirts.  (If you look back at pics, you can probably figure out which ones they are).  We searched the flat, discussed the possibility of him leaving them in Germany, and other possibilities.  It was determined that the shirts were in the laundry Wynn did that day.  He immediately went to ask the laundromat owner if he had seen the shirts.  The man told him that he kept the shirts for a couple of days and when no one claimed them, he put them back in the laundromat and someone took them the night before.  Wynn was distraught!  Lesson learned...don't drink and do laundry.

When Wynn recovered, we went to the church where I was not allowed in because of my tank top.  Had to buy a 50 cent "kimono" so I didn't get kicked out.

Corey's bag arrived!

We had an awesome dinner in the Santo Spirito area.  Wyly was really impressed with the ravioli that was "like butter".  Italia won the soccer game.  Had a drink at Friends bar.  Ended the night listening to "heeheeeheee wipeout".
