This morning we went to the mercado to get some fresh produce. Cain will love that since he makes fun of us for going to the farmer's market every Saturday morning back in Atlanta. After we got back, Beth made us some fresh sandwiches.
Later we went back to town looking for a department store. We left with a list of items to get, but didn't wind up with a single one. However, we did find a cool little wine shop where you don't buy wine by the bottle. Instead they have several bottles open and you try the ones you want and pay for the amount that you drink. I'm sure we will go back there again.
After the wine tasting we made it home and Beth whipped up our first home cooked meal. It was called strascinati. She can give Giada a run for her money.- WN
